The Flow of Discovery

For MakeMyTrip, a global travel platform, the journey does not begin at the airport nor end at the destination. It is an ongoing process filled with excitement, connection, and continuous discovery. This idea is translated into the interior design concept of “Journey & Connection” — transforming the workplace into a space of inspiration, movement, and momentum.

The design concept began with a key question: how can the workplace make employees feel as though they are part of taking people out into the world every day? The answer was expressed through “The Travel Line”, a design language inspired by flight paths on radar screens and latitude lines across a world map. These lines became a defining element of the spatial identity.

More than a graphic feature, these lines serve as a wayfinding system that connects each zone seamlessly. From the reception area, which marks the beginning of the journey, to the workspaces that encourage interaction, idea-sharing, and collaboration, every part of the office is designed to feel fluid and connected.

Beyond aesthetics, “Journey & Connection” is about creating a workplace ecosystem that captures the spirit of travel. Every square meter is designed to support movement, connection, and inspiration, reflecting MakeMyTrip’s vision of taking people — including its own team — further than ever before.
